For a casement window to meet egress it must meet ALL the following requirements: 20" Minimum width when open, 24" minimum height when open, total of 5.7 Sq Ft Net clear opening & bottom edge of glass should be a maximum of 44" from top of finished floor. You must check with your local building codes and window manufacture specs.
