CA200 is a replacement option which would need slight modification to install.
As this is a retro fit application please read all instructions below and view pictures as well as old style dimensions vs. the CA200. If this this retro fit application will not work for your the only other option will be to replace the window. If you feel that you can not perform this retro fit install you will need to hire an installer. R&R is not responsible for any damage to window during retro fit install or any labor costs.

*As this is a retro fit application used on many brands of windows some customers have found they needed longer screws which you can purchase at your local hardware store. Screw pitch that we found fit in the arm hole in new operator is a #10 x 32. Some customers old screw from their existing operator is a #10 x 24 when we try that size it only goes in about 1 to 2 turns. We recommends ACE hardware for replacement screw if needed they have more screw options. And they usually have a thread gauge in their screw section so you can take the operator with you and see which style would work best. For your retro fit application.

Retro Fit Instructions:
Remove old operator, by removing operator housing screws and screw that connects the operator arm to the corner link arm.
Remove mounting plate.
Keep the screw that connects the corner link arm To the operator arm.
Drill a 5/8” hole on the hinge side exactly 5 inches from the opposite side of the operator mounting hole. ( the oblong hole the operator goes thru)
Screw holes will need to be exactly 5” center to center apart
Install the new operator with the screws supplied
One will go into the end of the existing mounting hole and the other will go into the new hole you drill
Attach the corner link arm to the operator arm with the screw you saved.
your window should now operate
Clean and lubricate your hinges with spry silicone for better results (do not used WD40)

The easy to operate SafeGard 2 is designed to limit the window opening to less than 4”. Designed to allow for factory installation as well as field application by trained personnel. Fits in the standard hinge cavity of 0.719"W x 0.438"H (nominal). Arm assembly has a decal with simple operating instructions, and track is assembled with visible colored plastic to discern the separate operations. .
This patented releasable limit device for windows meets the ASTM F2090 (window fall prevention) safety requirements for self-resetting, egress capable, fall prevention devices.

Ordering Instructions for SafeGard 2R: Residential Applications
1. Determine window handing by viewing from the outside looking in. If the casement window hinge is on the right side, you need a right hand limiting device.
2. The self-locating sash device is designed for a 7/16 in. [11 mm] cavity. Ensure there are no lips or ribs that would block the ability of the sash device to engage with the frame device. Consult the window manufacturer or application if cavity is larger than 7/16 in. [11 mm] or if lips /ribs are present, or if the cavity height on the jamb is significantly different than the sill. Shims may be required.
2.1. Locate the hinge cavity by finding where the hinge arm attaches to bottom of sash. Follow this cavity around the corner of the sash to the vertical sash member
2.1.1. If there is no cavity on the vertical sash member, please consult with your window manufacturer for application review.
Includes: Arm Assembly, Track Assembly, Template, Window Label, Screw Pack (4 screws) and Operating and Installation Instructions. (Recommended screws are #8 Pan Head, Length and screw type depended on application).

The ASTM F2090 addresses window fall prevention that helps protect against potential falls by children through open windows. This is done by allowing the window opening to be set at a predetermined position of fewer than four inches (4”) and automatically re-latch when fully closed. AmesburyTruth’s SafeGard™ 2R provides a means that the window, when opened in an initial operation, will limit the venting to less than 4”. By code, two actions are required to open the window fully for egress purposes. This additional operation can be performed without the use of keys, tools, or special knowledge.
