How do I wash E-Cloth products?

Generally, E-Cloth products should be washed with a small amount of laundry detergent and no bleach, fabric softeners, or dryer sheets. They can be air dried or tumble dried.

Please note: Dusting products usually perform best when air died.

Daily: Rinse & wring out your cloth or pad after each use. Weekly: Machine wash. Skip the dryer sheets & fabric softener. As Needed: Boil in water to degrease & remove tough grime.

Cleaning your E-Cloths is easy, breezy, lemon-squeezy (lemons optional).

  • Hot water works best to rinse all that yucky stuff down the drain.
  • Between uses, rinse + wring out the cloth thoroughly, and hang to air dry.
  • If there’s grime stuck on your cloth after rinsing, that’s a good indicator that it’s time to launder it!
  • Machine wash up to 140°F, using a small amount of detergent.
  • Tumble dry or hang the cloths to dry. Dusting products perform best when air dried.

Keep it simple. Treat your E-Cloth product right.

  • Fabric softener + dryer sheets are the kryptonite to our fibers — avoid them while cleaning and washing.
  • Colors may run. Wash cloths separately the first time around.
  • Skip the bleach. Excessive use will damage the fibers and inhibit performance.

Mess up? Don't freak out — our cloths are built to last. Think of us as the comeback cloths.

  • If fabric softener or dryer sheets are used by mistake, rewash the product immediately.
  • If cloth performance is reduced or if cloth develops an odor, machine wash on high heat.
  • If the cloth takes on a greasy feel, boil it for 5 minutes, then follow the regular wash instructions.

What material is used to make E-Cloth products?

Most E-Cloth products are made of microfiber, or more specifically: a combination of polyester and polyamide.

To see the materials of a specific product, please look under the Specifications tab on the individual product page.

Where is E-Cloth made?

E-Cloth is proud to be a global company with an international sales footprint. Our products are made in various countries throughout Asia, including Vietnam, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia.

What surfaces are E-Cloth products appropriate to use on?

E-Cloth products are appropriate to use on all hard surfaces, including but not limited to wood, marble, glass, stainless steel, hardwood, linoleum, and vinyl.

Please note that all textiles should be washed prior to your first use.

Can I use other agents besides water with E-Cloth?

While unnecessary for cleaning performance, you may use different agents with E-Cloth products if you wish.

Please note that using agents other than water will clog the fibers quickly, so you may need to launder the product immediately and more frequently than when using just water.

My E-Cloth product is stained or frayed from use. What should I do?

Stains or frays will not affect the cleaning performance of your product, so you can keep using the product.

For frays, feel free to snip off any strands or threads, preferably using sharp fabric shears or high-quality scissors.

To help remove stains, boil the product in water for up to 10 minutes. You can also rub a small amount of dish soap, stain remover, and/or baking soda into the stain and let it sit for a few minutes, then wash according to the normal wash instructions.
